Welcome to my homepage. I am the Director of Early Childhood Education.
I have had the pleasure of working with early childhood students at Northwest
Florida State College for 16 years. Before that, I was a classroom
teacher. I taught preschool, preschool-disabled, kindergarten and third grade. I also worked as a preschool director,
a parent education coordinator, and as an education advisor for active duty military.
I serve as faculty advisor for students with the following educational goals:
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
Florida Child Care
Professional Credential (FCCPC)
Florida Child Care Director’s Credential
College Credit Certificate-Infants and Toddlers
College Credit Certificate-Preschool
College Credit Certificate-Child Care Management
College Credit Certificate-Child Development/Early Intervention
Associate of Applied Science Degree-Early Childhood Education
If you are seeking a college credit certificate or an A.A.S. degree, it is very important that you schedule an appointment
to meet with me so that we can develop a program of study. The program of study will serve as a map to help you reach your
educational goal.
If you are enrolled in one of my classes, I look forward to working with you this semester. Please feel free to contact
me by phone or email. It is important to me that I do my part to help you be successful in meeting your educational goals
at Northwest Florida State College.
To the left you will find links to the most recent course
outlines for my classes. They are in PDF format and require
Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them.
If you are enrolled in a distance learning course, it is important that you attend the orientation as scheduled.
You will find the date, time, and place on the course outline.
